This monumental Indonesian Devi is a powerful image of peace, protection, and feminine energy. With her folded hands, serene appearance, and impressive size, this is no ordinary garden statue, but a stone temple figure with a real presence.
In the Hindu tradition, Devi represents the divine feminine power. She is associated with harmony, protection, fertility, wisdom, compassion, and inner balance. According to family tradition, the statue has been in Europe since the 1950s and is said to have originated from a temple context in Indonesia.
