Designed to work as a pair
These Chinese cloisonné vases use archaic dragon forms and geometric borders as a repeating decorative system rather than as isolated motifs. The polychrome enamel is balanced across both vessels, giving the pair a strong symmetrical presence when displayed together.
The design belongs to the broad Qing-revival vocabulary of Chinese decorative metalwork. We present them as a coordinated decorative ensemble rather than attempting to force an earlier dynastic attribution.
