The Master of Fortune – Ancient God Lu (ca. 1800–1850)
This is the ultimate manifestation of success and fortune within the Chinese tradition. This rare temple statue represents Lu, the star god who rules over rank, salary, and social advancement. A powerful, soulful object for those striving for a life of abundance and authority.
The Bringer of Fortune and Status
In classical Chinese iconography, the official is the only one who can unlock Fortune. This hand-carved statue from the Fujian or Guangdong region embodies the power of the star god Lu Xing. With his official headband and dignified seated posture, he radiates an unwavering energy of success. It is a traditional Feng Shui anchor point that has been revered for over two centuries to seal business deals and protect family prosperity.
