Why this statue in your space?
In the Hindu tradition, Vishnu is the 'Maintainer'. Placing this statue brings three specific powers into the home:
- Protection & Harmony: Vishnu sustains the world. The seven-headed serpent Ananta acts as a spiritual shield, ensuring a safe and stable atmosphere in the home or business.
- Prosperity & Happiness: At his feet sits Lakshmi, the goddess of fortune and wealth. Her presence symbolizes the attraction of both material and spiritual abundance.
- Manifestation: Vishnu dreams the world while resting. This image stimulates creativity and reminds us that great achievements begin with inner peace and focus.
Expertise & Quality
This sculpture distinguishes itself by its exceptional mass of 12.2 kg. It was crafted in the second half of the 20th century using the traditional 'lost-wax' method. The expertly applied patina gives the object the powerful appearance of an antique temple piece. At 1stBuddha, transparency comes first: we sell this as a high-quality reproduction that, through its physical weight and symbolic charge, makes a lasting impact on your interior.
