Buddha Statues Over €1,800
Buddha Statues Priced Above €1,800
This collection is generated by a commercial rule: Buddha-titled works priced above €1,800. It is therefore a high-value browsing category, not a curatorial certificate and not the same as our hand-selected Masterpieces collection.
The group can include monumental wood sculpture, important bronze images, gilt Himalayan works and later but substantial pieces. Price is influenced by scale, quality, rarity, dating, condition, provenance and market demand; the threshold itself does not establish historical importance.
What high-value buyers should expect
Major works are catalogued with close attention to material, dimensions, weight, iconography, dating, origin or attribution and condition. Where additional technical observations, provenance documentation or detailed photographs are available, these form part of the object dossier rather than being replaced by broad marketing claims.
Uncertainty is retained when evidence does not justify a narrower attribution. A sculpture described as Himalayan, Sino-Tibetan or Thailand, Rattanakosin style is stronger cataloguing than forcing a prestigious earlier label without support.
