The figure is depicted with the sword of wisdom in the raised hand, symbolizing the cutting through of ignorance. The other hand is in a posture suitable for holding a text or attribute. The statue is traditionally hollow cast and shows a deep, natural patina consistent with age. Made in Tibet and datable to the 19th century. Height approximately 13.8 cm, width approximately 10.9 cm, weight approximately 1 kg. This is a religious statue with both spiritual and art historical value.
