The panel depicts an elaborate court scene with multiple figures around a table, set within an architectural pavilion structure with roof edges, openwork ornamentation and geometric details. The composition is deeply carved, with clear layering and carefully modelled postures and facial expressions. The red background enhances the contrast with the gold and emphasizes the narrative scene. The back is closed with a wooden panel, typical of traditional Chinese interior work.
