Thai Bronze Temple Musicians and Dancer – Set of 4 Sculptures
Specifications: Complete Set of 4 Figures | Solid Cast Bronze | Two-tone Patina with Gold Accents | Dating: ca. 1960–1980 | Total weight: 2.4 kg Are you looking for a harmonious and characterful Asian art ensemble and do you wish to purchase an authentic set of Thai bronze musicians? We proudly present this rare, four-piece ensemble of traditional temple figures from the mid- to late 20th century. The set consists of three seated musicians—playing a traditional flute, a string instrument, and a drum—and is beautifully completed by a graceful kneeling dancer. These figures reflect the rich, spiritual court culture of the Rattanakosin style.
At 1stbuddha, we do not sell decoration, but heritage.
Craftsmanship in Two-Tone Bronze Casting
Each figure in this set is heavy and solid cast from bronze of excellent quality. The deep, dark green base patina forms a beautiful, classic contrast with the rich, gold-colored accents on the robes, jewelry, and the traditional, pointed Chada headdresses. This refined play of colors gives the ensemble a lively and regal appearance under any form of lighting. It is a powerful example of symbolic Asian wood and metal art for the interior, ideal for a larger collection or as a serene eye-catcher on a sideboard or altar.
- Fully Intact: Fragile parts such as the flute, the fine strings of the lute, the drumsticks, and the delicate fingers of the dancer are present and excellently preserved.
- Heavy Quality: With a total weight of no less than 2.4 kg, the set feels substantial and displays the solid artisanal casting quality.
- Historic Character: The subtle, natural signs of aging on the bronze and the soft sheen of the gold-colored details underscore the character of authentic older Asian craftsmanship.
