Material Technical & Forensic Analysis

  • 365 nm UV Inspection: Spectroscopic examination under ultraviolet light shows a natural green-blue fluorescence consistent with copper carbonate minerals and malachite/azurite formation within the original core structure.
  • Authentic Construction: No evidence was found of modern polymers, synthetic resins, adhesives, or lead fillings. The construction is entirely historically consistent.
  • Lost-Wax Method: The thick, irregular cast walls are characteristic of traditional manual casting using the ancient cire perdue technique.
  • Natural Patina: The deep golden-brown brass skin with subtle iridescent nuances was formed by prolonged natural oxidation and years of ritual use, preserving the statue's authentic historical character.
