This rare set of three authentic South Indian bronze statues (early 20th century) depicts important Hindu gods on their sacred mounts (vahanas). The figures are crafted using the traditional 'lost wax' casting technique and display beautiful traces of ritual use and a natural patina.

The Set Consists Of:

  • Vishnu as Kurma: Seated on a turtle, featuring sacred yantra inscriptions on the shell and the underside.
  • Murugan: Seated on a rooster, symbolizing victory over the ego.
  • Ganesha: Seated on his mount the rat (Mushika), the scavenger of obstacles.
