Estimated value: €650 – €950. Bronze Shiva Nataraja, depicted as a cosmic dancer within the ring of flames, standing on the dwarf Apasmara who symbolizes ignorance. The statue is cast with thin walls and is relatively lightweight, consistent with Indonesian and South Asian production for domestic devotion in the 19th to early 20th centuries. The surface shows pronounced natural oxidation with deep copper salts and uneven patina buildup, resulting from prolonged exposure to air and moisture. There are no indications of modern aging or recent interventions. The open base and consistent casting structure confirm traditional manufacture. The whole is technically and stylistically coherent as authentic old religious bronze, not intended as a solid temple statue but as a devotional object. Origin: Indonesia. Dating: ca. 19th century. Dimensions: height 31 cm, width 26 cm. Weight approx. 1.2 kg.
