This kneeling bronze Buddha is depicted in Anjali mudra, the prayer posture in which the hands are brought together as a sign of reverence and devotion. The statue has a restrained and serene appearance, with austere proportions and a calm facial expression, befitting traditional temple use.
The statue is traditionally cast in bronze and has an open base, characteristic of older Southeast Asian temple statues. The surface displays a natural, dark patina with light wear on protruding parts, resulting from prolonged ritual use. No traces of modern processing or restoration are visible.
The style, posture, and finish suggest an origin from Burma (Myanmar) and a dating to the 18th to 19th century. Dimensions approx. 21.7 × 9 cm, weight approx. 2 kg.
