The statue is hollow cast and crafted from a silver-colored copper alloy (white metal), not solid silver. Microscopic examination reveals natural oxidation and long-term wear, with visible remnants of original gilding in recessed and protected zones. This combination of white metal with partially worn gilding is characteristic of Nepalese production from the late 19th to early 20th century. The surface is free of modern coatings or restorations; UV examination shows only dust reaction. The robe is richly decorated with repeating motifs and the face is serene and classically modeled.
