Pair of antique heads of Ksitigarbha (Dizang Pusa), crafted in gilded cast iron. This Buddhist bodhisattva is revered in China as a protector of souls and a guide in the afterlife. The heads show remnants of original gold leaf gilding, with clear natural wear, oxidation, and mineral deposits consistent with prolonged temple use. These are authentic devotional fragments from China or the Sino-Tibetan cultural area, dating from the 18th to 19th centuries. The set has been preserved as a matching pair and is offered as a historical and religious ensemble, not as a decorative object.
