Exclusive Handcraft and Gilding

What distinguishes this specific piece from standard castings is the exceptional finish on the reverse side. Whereas many statues are smooth on the back, this piece displays fine-grained manual chasing. The spiritual symbols were driven directly into the bronze with great precision by a master craftsman. Furthermore, clear traces of original gilding are visible in the recessed parts of these engravings, indicating high-quality craftsmanship for ceremonial or temple purposes.

Double Mudra: Teaching and Blessing

This Buddha is unique due to the combination of two powerful hand gestures. The left hand is raised in the Vitarka Mudra, the gesture of discussion and the transmission of the teachings (Dharma).
